"Ruby-" Weiss clenched her fist in annoyance- looking at her ridiculous leader covered head to toe in dust. "Why are you covered in my expensive dust...?" Weiss stomped her feet with annoyance as Yang slowly rose her hand-
"I- might of thought it was sawdust-" The powerhouse refused to make eyecontact with the fuming dust user,
"Yeah- sorry Weiss!" Ruby laughed "We were going to try to do the 'someone walks through the door and triggers a bucket of water falling on them' trick with a twist- buuut" Ruby broke eye contact- "I might of- walked through it to check if you were coming- sorrrrry!"
Blake had never seen such rage flow into Weiss's rant, it seemed using her expensive dust and doing such a dangerous prank didn't sit well with the normally elegant team member. The cat girl slinked out of the room without arousing suspicion.
"I- can't- believe-" Weiss panted, exausted from her rant she gazed into Ruby's puppy dog eyes before turning away with a growl. "You have to pay for it-" Weiss huffed- waiting for a response from Ruby. All she got was a gasp.
Turning around she saw Ruby holding onto her skirt, she looked like she was trying to pull it but there was no force.
"Ruby?" Weiss frowned, unsure what she was doing,
"It's- pulling me-!" Ruby whimpered, her body slowly shrinking before being absorbed. by the fabric.
After initial shock and a change of clothes, Ruby thankfully returned a few inches in height. Her two friends frowned at the new height-
"Weiss- what's happening?" Yang started, unsure if she should touch her little sister,
"I- don't know- the dust was experimental-" Weiss stuttered, "It must of mixed with something in the bucket- but- this is just-" She bit her lip, watching the micro melt into the floor before pulling herself out again. "Weird...".
"So- what now?" Ruby called out, hoping up and down to prevent herself getting stuck. The two giantess frowned at the strange sight,
"It should wear off when the dust dissipates from your body- dust can be relatively safe to test side effects as long as it's not explosive" Weiss sighed, "There's nothing that could cause explosions or anything like that... it was approved for human testing but some reactions to other dust could cause... small side effects..." The tiny girl slowed as she seemed to learn how to stop herself from being absorbed. She shuddered at the thought of being so small at this size.
"For now- you should probably just hide or something in an empty draw- then we'll know where you are if you get 'absorbed'" Yang nodded knowingly, noticing the wood like texture on Ruby's legs as focused slipped.
Ruby pouted from her box prison- Yang and Weiss appologeticly waving up above-
"Serves you right for trying to prank your truly" Weiss chuckled, "You'll be fine, when it wears out you should grow back. I don't think anyone will mind you destroying this" The dust users head vanished, Yang gave a happy wink to hide her worry as she stepped away, leaving the shoebox containing the tiny girl alone.
"We'll be back later with some food Sis- don't fret!" Yang's voice called out.

It felt like forever since her friends had left, Ruby had long since given up on standing or sitting, her body only visable as a small lump on the bottom of the box. She sighed, ready to try and get up again when some thundering footsteps approached her prison.
'Finally...' Ruby thought, struggling to have her own form again as a face popped up. Panic struck the tiny girl as Blake picked up her prison, unable to see the camouflaged girl inside.
Blake reentered the room to find it empty, glad to be out of the argument she wandered over to get her favorite book to go read somewhere before noticing her old shoe box on the side table. She opened her draws before curiosity struck,
"What's this doing out...?" She spoke softly, peeking inside it to see if it was in use. Nothing inside it. She tipped it upside down to see if someone was using it as an art project or something, nothing. She shrugged, placing it back on the counter top, not noticing the tiny girl fall out into the open draw, instantly absorbing into an item.

Ruby yelled out in panic as she dropped down, bouncing against something before feeling her body sink down. Unable to react fast enough, she found herself stuck fast as Blake looked down again. She wondered where she was-
