“Note to self, apologize to Weiss for taking her Dust case.” Nora didn’t know how else she was supposed to do this without asking for permission, though it was likely that Weiss would’ve said no to the idea. Maybe that pink sticky note she placed under her bed would be enough for Weiss to understand.
She placed down the case right on the floor of the Amphitheater and stretched herself, prepared to do what she thought was right to improve herself. While she had shown improvements in the weeks since the Vale attack, Nora thought she could be a bit better if her team was to compete in the upcoming Vytal Tournament and make sure that Jaune doesn’t get killed out there just in case things got a bit crazy there.
She opened the case and marveled at the amount of Dust kept inside. How one was able to stuff all of this inside without anything breaking was a real mystery since everything was nearly cluttered together. She had to be very careful about this plan, any wrong move could surely cause a huge explosion. Taking a deep breath, Nora pulled a vial of lightning Dust from the case and held it out in front of her face.
“This is gonna work, I’m gonna be strong enough to take down anyone in the tournament!” Nora said with a big smile, ready for what was surely a dangerous task if done poorly. But she wasn’t going to back down, she had to try and hope for the very best.
“NORA!“ That was when she heard Weiss. Even from far away, the heiress’ yell of anger sounded way too close for the huntress in training who jumped and lost her grip on the Dust vial. She tried catching it with her quick hands but it easily fell straight to the cast where the glass broke apart upon contact on top of the other vials of Dust.
“Oh crap.” That was her last thought before she found herself covered in a multi-colored explosion.
. . .
“Ugh…what happened?” She wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but she started to wake up after that explosion engulfed her. Luckily, she wasn’t dead and her five senses were still intact, although she saw a large wall of white that scaled up to the ceiling before getting cut off. Though far, she could make out some glass structures formed in unusual shapes and cracked apart by a powerful force.
But then Nora notices something on some of them, they seemed to showcase the logo of the Schnee Dust Company. Last she checked, that was for the Dust vials…
“Oh no. Oh no…” And just like that, Nora saw her problem. She had been shrunk down to what she guessed was a very small size, probably the right one for something to be considered a bug, and her weapon was nowhere on her after that explosion.
Before she could think of doing anything, she heard the mighty footsteps approaching from close by. The powerful steps were able to knock the tiny huntress down as she looked up to the giant girl well known as…
