After taking a few more calming breaths, the tournament champion could slowly begin to feel her rage ebbing away. It didn't vanish completely, there was no way it would any time soon, but for now she was able to force it down.
Despite the fact that she'd caught her partner red handed in such a compromising position, she could somewhat understand he was a man with needs. Needs she apparently couldn't satiate!
What was wrong with her!? She was just as good looking as Yang if not more so. She had nice curves, an ample chest, a generous rump! So why was it that her partner looked at everyone but her!?
It was the same with Weiss. She was just as good! Weiss had a unique aesthetic sure, but she was lacking in pretty much every other area! Her own partner who was younger than she was had more going on!
No! No! She needed to calm down. Gods, these were her friends she was thinking about in such a scornful manner. The first real friends she'd ever had. She felt mortified for thinking about them in such a negative way.
She needed to remember where she was and get back on track. She wasn't angry at the moment, she wasn't jealous, and she wasn't a vain jezebel who insults the people closest to her.
She had to take care of her partner, her team, and somehow get some help. Pyrrha took another deep breath, and prepared herself for the challengers that lied ahead.
Meanwhile down below Jaune felt his heart racing a mile a minute. He really hoped that his partner's calming method of choice pulled through. The last thing he wanted was to be tiny and vulnerable... more vulnerable.
"Jaune?" Pyrrha called from above, her voice much louder than before.
"Pyrrha... I uh, I can explain--"
She held up her hand to silence him, most of her anger having been pushed away. "I know what you're going to say, and I think it best we save that discussion for another time. For now let's work together and try to get Yang's attention."
Juane took in his partner's words and the more calm look on her face. Apparently her calming method worked and he wouldn't end up in a world of trouble. Well, he still might later, but that was just that... later.
He looked off to the side where Yang was and then back to his larger than life mini teammate. "Alright. But uh... I don't know how much help I'll be like this."
He wasn't even selling himself short either, (no pun intended) but it was true. He wasn't a borrower, he didn't have the skills to aid Pyrrha at his size.
"Don't worry." she said as she reached her hand down to scoop her leader up. At first the blonde flinched but remined himself that this was his partner and he trusted her implicitly. He allowed himself to be scooped into her palm. "I'll keep you safe until we can get some help."
