The first creature you stumble upon is your jet black cat, Tenebra, sleeping on the couch's armrest.
Getting near her, you run your hand along her back, inadvertently erasing a long strip of her along her body.
While you were going for a second stroke, you have to do a double take to realize what happened, after which you examine the erased part accurately. Instead of looking like a big crevasse, you simply can't see the 'walls'of the hole, you can see trough like a broken texture.
Since you already deleted a big strip, you decide to keep on going and delete the rest of Tenebra's body, leaving her as just a head.
If she noticed, she didn't care, because she kept on sleeping, her head still purring softly.
