That morning, Sam quickly went into the lab. The Bulky Bars had reformed and were now in the same rectangular shape they began as. Strangely, the bars looked exactly as they did before, with no visible difference to be seen. Sam didn't notice, however, and was ready to eat right away.
Sam wouldn't have been so hasty to eat if it hadn't been for the dream she had the night before.
In the dream, she sat inside a crowded theater, many people cheering her name. As the lights dimmed and the spotlights came on, she saw herself walk onto the stage. Except now she was extremely muscular! She was even bigger than Alex was when she bulked up! The Sam on stage began posing and flexing her gains, clearly enjoying all the attention she was getting. The show seemed to go on forever, no one in the crowd getting bored or tired of seeing Sam flex. Suddenly, Sam woke up and her urge to get in better shape was bigger than ever!
She quickly ate the bar, and waited for the growth to start. For Alex, it happened instantly. And sure enough, Sam's body began to bulge with muscle. She felt her muscles grow and grow, filling out the tight night clothes she was wearing.
But, as she grew, Sam's thoughts started to shift. Her mind was originally abuzz with dreams of being fit, dating boys, and entering competitions, much like the one in her dream. But now, it seemed all she could think about was her now huge muscles.
Once the transformation had finished, Sam stood up straight and looked in the lab mirror. It was far too small to showcase her whole body. However, she remembered Clover had a full body mirror in her room. She ran to Clover's room, practically ramming down the door.
She stood in front of the mirror. Sam was now as big as Alex's had been when she grew.
"HeHeHe! Sam big!" she said to herself, her voice slightly deeper in tone, "Sam big and beefy!"
Part of Sam's mind was quickly confused. Why was she talking like this?
But that part was quickly overpowered by the new muscular side of her mind. This side didn't care about speaking correctly, replacing that information with more thoughts of her "gorgeous" muscles.
The muscular side was clearly in control of Sam's body, as she stood ogling at her new muscles in the mirror for almost 10 minutes! Saying things to herself like "Sam's arms so biiiig!" and "Me can lift anything!".
