Okay, there was a beach that stretched on and on, both to your left and your right - you must have been washes ashore somewhere near the midway point. There was a rather uninviting jungle beginning no less than ten feet from your position, but the foliage was so thick you could barely see past that point. Unfortunately, that jungle may be your only source of food and shelter.
Behind you, rather obviously, was the sea. You weren't going to swim away, obviously, but if you could fashion a crude spear out of something then it'd be an excellent source of food, provided you could manage to spear fish. Setting your feet in the water could also help to relieve stress slightly, if only by helping to wash off the annoying layer of sand that clung to your feet and ankles.
