When Catwoman finally arrived at the rendezvous, she was no closer to solving the mystery of where she was and how she got there. She wasn't a detective like a certain brooding bat but Selina still noticed that something wasn't right here. And it wasn't just the overweight public. Military transports could be spotted from the rooftops emblazed with a strange logo Selina had never seen. She steered clear of them and focused on the task at hand.
Catwoman entered a desolate warehouse that she agreed to meet Harley at should anything go wrong. It was easy to remember since Harley immaturely picked Warehouse 69. It was dark and in complete disrepair but at least it smelled better than it did outside. Though that wasn't saying much. Dust particles danced on the beams of light shining from the setting sun as Catwoman searched for her chaotic cohort.
"About time you showed up!" Hollered a familiar voice. There was no doubt in Selina's mind that it was Harley's. She let out a sigh and was about to retort when she was cut off by a bubbly PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPFFFRRRRRRRBBBBBBLLLLBBBBLLLLLLBBBBBLLLLLTTTTTTT. "Do you have any idea how many snack breaks I missed while waiting for ya?"
Stepping out of the shadows was the clown that Catwoman had been looking for, or at least a sumo wrestler posing as her. If this was an impersonator, they did a solid job copying Harley's look. From her half-red, half-black dyed hair to her revealing matching corset and stockings and signature mallet. It would have fooled Selina if this Harley wasn't morbidly obese. Her stomach looked as if there was a hot dog cart stored inside, her watermelon-sized breasts were close to popping out like a jack-in-the-box, and her ass cheeks were larger than the Batmobile's wheels. Catwoman could barely believe her eyes but she couldn't stare for too long.
"What the-!? You're not my goons!" Harley grabbed her mallet and sneered at the burglar. "You got a lotta nerve comin' to my turf dressed like one a my old pals." She swung her mallet and Catwoman had only a second to dodge before her face was smashed in. Harley staggered when she missed and Catwoman tried to talk some sense into her.
"Dressed like? Harley, it's me! Selina! What the hell's going on? What happened to you?"
"Don't....don't try and fool me! Fat Cat hasn't been that scrawny since...since..." Harley stopped to choke back a sob and steel herself for the imminent brawl. "Forget it! I don't gotta explain nothing to you. I just gotta squish you like a pancake."
Catwoman didn't want to fight her fattened friend since she was light on allies at the moment but Harley wasn't giving her much of a choice. She had to act fast or risk getting hammered again.
