Your name is Eric, and your a fairly typical teenage American boy. You're in your room surfing the net one night, when suddenly, you're blinded by a bright flash of light and flung out of your chair and across the room as an incredible force hits you. Slowly, your vision clears, and you begin to pick yourself up off the floor, only to freeze in your tracks at the sight before you. Standing in your room is a man at least eight feet tall, incredibly muscular with pure white hair and beard, and eyes filled with stars bathed in a brilliant golden radiance.
"Who-who are you? Are you like, God or something?" you stammer nervously, amazed by the sight before you, but frightened by it as well, being unsure of the beings intentions towards you.
In answer to your question, the being intones in a voice like thunder "Not as you humans understand the concept, but it is as close to the truth as your feeble minds are capable of comprehending. I am Alkazar the All Powerful. I have watched the formation of galaxy's, seen countless stars be born, grow old, and die, their last ebbs of energy bleeding out into the cosmos. I have been watching you as well Eric Johnson, and I have chosen to grant you one wish. Anything you desire is within my power to grant, but be aware that your wish will affect not just yourself, but rather, the entire human race, every man, woman, and child, both born and those yet to be born, onwards to the ends of time."
"Anything I want, seriously?! And whatever I wish for will affect everyone?" you exclaim, unable to believe that this is really happening, certain that you must be dreaming, as you know something like this could never happen in real life. Still, it wouldn't hurt to make a wish, even if it would never come true. "Okay Alakazam..." you begin.
"Alkazar!" the all powerful being thunders.
"Whatever. My wish is, I want this to be a world where fantasy creatures exist and are considered an almost normal part of society, and magic actually works and is as prevalent, respected, and well understood as science, with everyone knowing about it and making use of it to some degree.
"That is your wish?" Alkazar intoned.
"It is." you confirmed, sure that, whatever else, if by some change this all does happen to be real, it would certainly make life, both for you and the rest of the world, a whole lot more interesting.
A deep thrumming noise, more felt than heard fills the room, as bright light shoots out from the glowing figure, blinding you temporarily. When your sight recovers enough for you to see again, Alkazar is gone. Still believing everything up till now to have been a dream, you crawl into bed, and soon you're fast asleep. The next morning when you wake up_______________?
