A lesbian. Guys just don't do it for you ma...

You're Alexis Monroe, Alex to your friends, a fairly attractive, though unexceptional twenty one year old female collage student. Oh yes, and you also happen to be a lesbian. That in and of itself is not so bad, gays having it easier now than during previous decades, and most people being more accepting of lesbians than gay men anyways, though a certain amount of prejudice still exists, especially among the older generations, your parents among them unfortunately, though their not fanatical in their hatred, merely not approving of your lifestyle.

On this particular evening, you've just gotten back home after an unproductive night out on the town in search of someone to spend the evening with, or at least a few hours on the dance floor. Unfortunately, fellow lesbians are hard to find on this particular campus, at least those who meet your standards, most either being too afraid to reveal themselves, fanatics, unattractive, uninteresting, or otherwise unacceptable. It's not as though you're asking for much really. All you want is a nice, attractive girl who's not a psycho or a bitch, shares a few of your interests, and happens to be sexually attracted to women, why that's so hard to find is beyond you. You sigh, wishing, not for the first time that you were straight, not so much due to the social stigma involved with being gay, but rather due to the fact that it would have made it a lot easier to get a date, having received several offers from various guys tonight, some of which were fairly attractive by straight girl standards, and one or two of them actually seemed fairly nice, you just weren't attracted to them. That's another problem you have whenever you go out. Guys see a moderately attractive, unattached woman out on the town, and they automatically think she's available and in need of male companionship, never dreaming that she might not be interested, often going so far as refusing to take no for an answer and pestering you until you're forced to leave whatever establishment you happen to visit.

Sighing, you kick off your shoes and flop back on the couch, legs spread in a manner that would have been absolutely scandalous given the short skirt you're wearing had you been in public. Right now however you're alone, your roommate Candice won't be back for several hours yet provided she bothers coming back at all. She had managed to find a boyfriend for the evening, the two of them wandering off for coffee or some such and leaving you there at the club lonely and desperate. Wallowing a little in self pity, you get up intending to go and make yourself a bowl of ice cream, never imagining the events that are about to unfold around you, or the impact they'll have on your life and the lives of every other human being on the planet.

Just as you're about to step into the kitchen, there's a bright flash of light behind you, followed by a clap of thunder. Spinning around quickly, heart pounding from what you believe to have been a close encounter with a random bolt of lightening, you're shocked to find yourself face to chest with magnificent being with the body of a Greek god and the face of an angel radiating with a golden light that's almost too bright to look at. The creatures eyes are what attracts your attention the most however. The eyes are pitch black, with neither irises nor pupil, though as you look closer, you see that what at first seemed to be two black pits in the creatures skull are actually full of tiny light resembling stars and planets, galaxies and nebula's, and entire cosmos contained within the gaze of the heavenly being before you.

Tearing your gaze away before you become lost forever in that gaze you stammer "W-who or w-what are you?"

In a voice like the rumbling of thunder the being intones I AM ALKAZAR, SELF APPOINTED GUARDIAN OF THE COSMIC BALANCE, AND POSSESSED OF POWER FAR GREATER THAN ANYTHING YOUR FEEBLE MORTAL MIND COULD HOPE TO COMPREHEND!" the god like being intones.

"I-I see. And, what do you want with me?" you asked nervously, certain in that moment that this Alkazar was a being sent from the heavens to drag you down to hell for you sinful ways, just like your mother always said would happen ever since she discovered you were a lesbian. Thankfully, the mighty figures next sentence sets your mind at ease, though only somewhat.

"I HAVE COME ALEXIS MONROE, TO MAKE YOU AN OFFER. I HAVE CHOSEN, FOR REASONS OF MY OWN FAR TOO COMPLEX FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND TO GRANT TO YOU A SINGLE WISH, ONE WHICH WILL EFFECT THE ENTIRETY OF THE HUMAN RACE IN THE MANNER OF YOUR CHOOSING." the ancient Alkazar explains.

"T-the entire human race? That seems like a lot of responsibility. Heck, right now_________________________?"

You have the following choices:

1. "I'd just be happy to get a date! I reallywish there were more lesbians around"

*Noteb*
2. Another wish.

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
