Miss Dodd pulls out her phone to type up a storm before your mother interrupts. "You're headless, but fine?!" in a weird excitement. To which you nod your neck.
"Wow, that's so freaking cool. Look at this, my son is headless" she gets all giddy over. "And you rock it too" she says to Miss Dodd with a vague enough comment to unknowingly keep her in the dark about her own beheading.
"He cut off his own head and attempted to prank me by hiding it in the supply closet" Miss Dodd types.
Your mom hi-fives you, "Nice prank, I imagine you can do a lot like that. Wait, his head?" she turned
Miss Dodd picked up your dormant head and handed it to her.
"Damn this is cool" she says as she tosses your head up and down. "This is going on the fire place when we get back home"
"Well alrighty, we done here?" she asks your teacher.
"Well, yes. I encourage you discipline him for his behavior however." she types.
You mother just scoffs, but still with a smile. "Come on, let's get going" she tells you. You follow her out the door.
Still unaware of the sword's magic she thinks Miss Dodd is normally headless as she calls back "Have a good day, you look great headless".
As you walk away you see Miss Dodd suddenly act surprised, realizing she too was headless. You'd smile if you could, leaving her to find her head.
You both hop in the car. Your mom tossed your dormant head in the back before getting in to drive.
"So, how'd ya do it?" she asked, starting the car.
"?" you simply type
"Your head, how'd you cut your head off like that? Your neck looks like you've never had a head"
You then type out explaining the sword you found and how it works. You go ahead and tell her about hiding Miss Dodd's head and your own, and about how your mom informed Miss Dodd about her own state.
"Oh, hahaha, whoops" your mom says, "I'm sure she'll find it"
You laugh as you can without a head.
"So, do you like it? Being headless?" she asked.
"Yeah, its actually really cool. I'm glad you've got a use in mind for my head, I'm not sure I'll be putting it back on anytime soon" you tell her.
"Nice"
As you two pull into your driveway, your mom...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
