inform your head about being a head

You decide you might as well be honest with your own head. You type on your phone. Before you can finish your mom can see what you are doing and decides to help.

"Sweetie, this is your body" she points to you.

"My body? But..." Your head starts off, "Holy crap, I'm a head!"

You nod your neck to your head.
"I remember it all now. Well, kinda. I cut off Miss Dodd's head and hid it from her. Then I cut my own head off but that's where things get a little blurry. I think Miss Dodd's found me and then you took me" your head goes on, seeming able to remember some of the time when it was dormant.

You reach over and pick your head up. You kind of inspect it.
"Nice neck" your head tells you. Your mother and you laugh.

"Aww, look at my two boys" your mom says.

"Two boys?" You hold up on your phone.

"Well, since you cut your head off, it seems I now have two sons, one head and one body" she explains.

"Hmm, that makes sense to me" your head responds, "Though that is if we stay this way"

"Do you want to stay this way?" You type to your head.

"Honestly I think so. It's kinda fun. I'm in no rush to have a body anytime soon. You?"

"I've already started to enjoy the wind on my neck too much" you tell your head via text.

"Oh wonderful" your mom shares her opinion.
You then remember what her original plan was. You poke her and she gets the message.

"Well, now that you are awake, I'll go ahead and ask you. I was originally planning to put you on the fireplace in the living room, sort of as a decoration. Would you like that or something else?"

Your head ponders, weighing options. Your head then decides
