Not wanting to give away the game just yet, you decide to play along with Miss Dodds' narrative & accept her head as your own for now.
"Of course! Thanks for bringing it back to me." You lie to the thin air where her face would've been if she still had her head on.
"The pleasure was mine. Just don't go losing it again, okay?" Miss Dodds tells you, completely oblivious to what is really going on & what she has just done.
As Miss Dodds turning & walks back to her desk you look down at 'Your' head now resting in your hands. Much like it was before, the head appears to be dormant; almost like it is asleep. Although she is your teacher you forget how young Miss Dodds actually is, being only 7 years older than yourself. You continue to admire the pretty head as you take a mental note of how The Longsword has worked in practice so far. You find it interesting that Miss Dodds didn't recognise her own head when she saw it & assumed it was yours, meanwhile just the prompt of being told you are missing your head was enough to break you out of the trance. You think this information could lead you into some pretty interesting scenarios later.
Once you are done admiring the young female head in your possession, you decide to search for your own head, having forgotten where you left it. You thought it was another interesting fact that you could now recall having a head but not where you chopped it off. You decide to begin your search where you had left Miss Dodds' head in the first place. It doesn't take long to discover that your own head was in the same spot. You wonder how Miss Dodds could have missed it after unknowingly finding her own.
You decide to leave your head there now for safe keeping. As long as nobody else goes snooping in there it should be safe. Returning to the classroom with Miss Dodds' head still snugly in your hands, you notice her body waving you over to her desk. You pause for a second, thinking she may have figured out her own headlessness before seeing her present her phone screen to you once more with a message.
"Are you not going to put your head back on? You could lose it again if you leave it off." She ask.
