"Body!" you greet your headless body as he strolls in. He does goofy finger guns back at you.
"Wait, you know him?" Maddie asks, confused by the magic of the sword.
"Yeah, is my body, of course I do" you say.
"Is there anything odd about this?" Maddie tries inquiring further.
You pause for a moment, thinking. "No.. should there be?" you ask.
"You and your body aren't together" she says, now more interested in the affects of the sword than playing a dumb prank on you.
You laugh, "Well duh, we wouldn't very well be headless if that were the case".
Before Maddie can say much more your body approaches, showing her your/his phone. "Thanks for holding onto him for me, I wasn't sure where he went".
Maddie drops her head in her hands.
This is just getting a bit absurd now she thought.
"You okay, Maddie?" you ask. Her mind is racing around this, trying to figure it out. She feels like her own head is just going to explode right off. Maddie then suddenly stands up, not taking anymore of this insanity and...
