Somehow they made it to the school without any more issues. Jessica tries hard to calm down, but everything feels so unfair, that the tears come back again and again. That the other girls in the bus had a great time to pinch her and pull on her hair did not make it better.
As soon as the bus comes to a full stop Jessica is the first that gets up and run to the door.
“Young lady, be careful!” Mrs Mathews calls after her, but it is already too late to stop what comes next.
One of the other girls had a tight grip on the towel, so it was ripped out of Jessie’s grip in the moment she passes the door of the small bus. The sudden pull makes the small women lose her balance. She stumbles and falls and hit the ground.
