After you step into this seemingly empty house, you find yourself in a rather polish, Victorian-like living room that seems very fancy and tidy for such a small house in the middle of a forest. All around, you see some old paintings hung on the walls, some bookcases, old clocks everywhere including a grandfather clock next to the entrance, fancy couches, a fireplace, a chandelier on the ceiling, and pretty much many other things you mostly find in a upper-class home. Those were not the only thing that surprised you as you look to your left and saw rows of shelves with dolls sitting on them; who ever lives here must've like dolls. Asides from the different color of their dresses, the dolls themselves all look identical to each other; each of them have blonde hair with red ribbons and wear black mary-jane shoes. They all look impressively well-made, almost looking more like little people than dolls. With that, it kinda made a bit unnerving to be honest as it feels like they could come to life at any moment. After looking around, you finally try to call out and see if someone's home.
"Hello? Is there anyone here?" You called out "I'm sorry for trespassing, but I'm lost right now. Is it okay if I could stay here?"
You waited here for several seconds in hope of getting a response, but to no avail. Is the owner asleep right now? Or are they really not home right now? Strange since it's gonna be late right now, are they out at the moment? Well, you could at least stay here for a while until they return, maybe they won't mind if you tell them the reason on why you are in their house for the night.
You walk across the room and sat down on the couch, watching through the window as the sun begans to disappears into the trees and begans twilight. You admitted it was a pretty sight to behold as it washes away your worries about those men searching for you; you hope they are not anywhere in this forest right now.
