Morgan was frustrated. Salutatorian, she had graduated Magna Cum Laude 3 months ago and she was no closer to her first job than she was to sprouting wings and flying away from her troubles. What was point in having a B.S. in Biology is no one wanted you?
Her parents were understanding enough. It's a recession sweetie, give it a year before you start ripping your hair out. After the first 4 weeks of being back home with her younger brothers and sisters she had past the point hair ripping, nail biting, and screaming. It was all she could do these days not to scratch her skin off and throw her younger siblings off the balcony.
The four bedroom house just wasn't big enough for her parents and 5 kids and her. The 10 year old twins Betsy and Cindy were always hovering in her shadow. 13 year old Micheal was performing his role as the newest moody teenager to the tee. 16 yr old Andrew was well enough; always the quiet one, he kept himself busy at school and with friends. The biggest source of tension was her 18 year old sister Cassidy. The high-school grad preferred to play host to her friends for the summer holiday as opposed to leaving the hectic house. It baffled Morgan why the girl would want to bring anyone home when all they did was sit around her room and gossip. The in ground pool out back was a definite teen magnate but more than half the time the younger kids were either already swimming or made it a point to swim once the big kids went out.
Cassidy and her friends were the resident plastics/mean girls and Morgan could not stand them. If she was forced to overhear one more conversation about who was the biggest flirt and which boy would be the best to date she would choke them all with their favorite lip glosses.
