Suddenly there was a crackling noise and you covered your ears. It appeared that there was a sound over the speakers. "Croaker," said a female voice over the speaker. "Bring the new recruit in to meet with the rest of the crew." You gave a look of surprise before turning to the frog man. "New recruit?" you asked. "New recruit?! What is that all about." Croaker, who you assume is the frog man gave a smile. "You'll see, kid. You're aboard the Javelin. See, we've been going around recruiting beings from different planets to combat the Sevarian."" "What's a Sevarian?" you asked Croaker. Croaker let out a ribbit before answering you. "They're the nastiest aliens you'll ever meet. No conscience, no regard for life, no restraint. The universe would be better off if they never existed because all they do is pillage, destroy and conduct cruel experiments, in that order. They're not a kind of anything if you know what you mean."
You were suddenly very afraid as you follow Croaker. "So, Croaker is it, how many people are there in the crew." Croaker lets out a ribbit again. "Including you and me, fifteen. Below General Nala, there are three divisions of this crew. First is the Nerve unit that consists of the crew's best fighters. Then there's the Brain unit, with yours truly. We specially in the jobs requiring intelligence such as finding young talent. Last is the Heart Unit. People in that unit have jobs requiring special powers. There are 5 of us in the Nerve Unit so far, 4 in the Heart Unit and 4 in the Brain Unit. Though I highly doubt you'll be assigned to the brain unit. Right this way kid."
You didn't know what to expect. "Uh Croaker," you said. "Are there any other frogs in the crew." "Nope. I'm the only one. I was put in the Brain Unit because I'm not a battler." You and Croaker walked into the main room to find the conference of the ship and the entire rest of the crew was there. There were fours seats in the main room, three of which were labeled with the images of a heart, a brain and a nerve. In the Nerve seat was a white furred wolf man built like a WWE wrestler with a Hulk Hogan-esque mustache and a red uniform with a grim expression on his face. He was surrounded by an alligator snapping turtle man dressed like a ninja complete with a naginata blade, a brownish skinned hippopotamus woman with white hair in a purple unitard with a red jacket, a teenage shark man resembling a hammerhead sharp with spiked shoes and a baboon man in a karate outfit.
You then turn to the Brain seat as Croaker ran up to his leader. From the looks of it the leader of the Brain division was what appeared to be a bat man in blue Tron-Style cyberpunk armor and goggles. He appeared to be polishing a sniper rifle. Besides Croaker, his team consisted of a crocodile man in steampunk armor that obscured his entire body and a chubby bespectacled pink and purple furred cow woman dressed like a doctor.
The Heart Seat was occupied by a cobra woman who had strange symbols marked on her body and appeared to be wearing sunglasses. She wore a green uniform. Her unit consisted of a rockhopper penguin whose uniform seemed to include a cloak, an eagle man whose uniform resembled an unbuckled straight-jacket and a wild boar woman who appeared to be wearing a Mad Max inspired outfit with spike decorations.
The leader of the crew was a lioness in a golden yellow colored uniform who also appeared to be wearing an eyepatch. As she took a closer look at you the three commanders were forming their own opinions. "Is this a joke?" asked the wolf man before glaring at the bat man. "Vladios, your frog really screwed up this time. I don't even know what the hell kind of creature that is. It doesn't look like it would last five seconds against a Sevarian." "How blind you are Clancifer," said the bat man, Vladios. "After all, it was Croaker who found several of your warriors." The hippo woman and shark boy behind Clancifer smiled at that before Clancifer growled. The cobra woman inched up to you and let out a hiss. "There's an unusual aura emanating from this one. Perhaps we've found the turning point in the war." "You're reading between the lines Braco," said Clancifer. "General Nala, you can't seriously be considering allowing this... whatever it is in the crew. It's from Earth. Everyone knows that planet could self-destruct any day.
Nala, the lioness leader looked down at you and you gave a nervous look, but she nodded her head and let out a growl. "In this universe, anyone who isn't a Sevarian is an ally. As of this moment he's one of us and begins basic training immediately." You had no idea what you were getting into. Which unit were you going to be assigned to?
