Amy opened the door to the TARDIS as it appeared in the busy market place. Instantly her nostrils were barraged with foreign smells, some of which were a mixed between strange and delicious. She stepped out as the Doctor followed behind her, his head buried in a strange beeping device.
"So why are we here again?" said Amy as she took in the site of the strange aliens waking around.
"This is the largest Marketplace in the galaxy, I have noticed a disturbing amount of illegal items appearing on Earth recently and fear there may be a smuggling ring operating on earth." said the Doctor as he calibrated his machine.
"And you think that they have to be getting their supplies from here." said Amy as she noticed the merchants working away around her.
"Exactly, best place to start at the very least. My device here scanned the items found on Earth, if it detects and large amount of said items it will beep." said the Doctor as he scanned around the Market. A faint beep went off.
"Excellent, I will head off this way, I want you to stay here and alert me to any strange activity that you notice." said the Doctor.
"It's an intergalactic marketplace there's always strange activity going on." said Amy.
"Good then you won't miss anything. One last thing Pond, whatever you do, do not eat the food here, they very rarely get humans here which means there's no way of knowing what it could do to you." said the Doctor.
"Yeah, yeah got it, no food." said Amy barely paying attention as she took in the sites around her.
The Doctor shrugged before turning his attention back to the device.
"Good luck Pond and see you soon."
The Doctor walked off with his head buried in the device. Meanwhile, Amy just couldn't shake off the delicious aromas she was smelling and seemed to finally notice that her belly was rumbling.
