It doesn't take long before Peter is dressed and Pavel is hidden in the box, as Peter walks the empty hallways. Always in awe of the large corricors he wonders what it would feel like for someone as small as Pavel. It must be terrifying. As he approaches the double doors of the office of Professor X, he hears a voice in his head "The door is open Colossus, come on in." It's not as suprising anymore. the professor knows where everyone is most of the time. So Peter enters without knocking. Across the large desk he can see the weelchaired, bald man looking at him, with eyes filled with wisdom. "I could sense your fear, anger, compassion and delight all the way over here. those were strong emotions that you sent out. So I think it's good your here." Peter alks up to the desk and places the box down, slowly shoving it towards the professor, "What is this?" Peter sits down and answers, "Well, today Wolverine came and handed..." The professor raises his hand and smile, "In English please Colossus, my Russian is a bit rusty to say the least." Peter grins sheepishly, "Da, sorry professor, I was not realising-k dat I was speaking-k in my own tongue. Today Wolverine handed me dat box, from a Russian woman. It had a letter, but maybe first open it and see for yourself?"
Pavel hears the two man talk and suddenly the box moves a little and the lid is being lifted. As the light streams he sees a large forehead and next a pair of friendly eyes, that blink only once. "I see?" he hears the man say and he reaches in to pick Pavel up and place him on the desk. "And who might you be." Pavel looks up and says, "My name is Pavel Imlyana Gorbachniv." Suddenly the man in the wheelchair leans back in his chair with a hint of fear. "How did you?" Pavel blinks, "I'm sorry, did I do something wrong?" the professor shakes his head as to clear his mind. "I'm sorry, I was a bit surprised, you spoke to me and passed a lot of mindshields just to make me hear you. Not many people can manage that." Pavel shrugs, "I'm sorry, I do not know what that means. I Just talk?" The professor recaptures himself and smiles gently. "I see, well you use the power of your mind to amplify your speech directly into the mind of others. Most people won't notice, but to other psychics like me and yourself apparantly, it would be considered very rude to do so without asking?" He smiles again, "But I now see you have no idea what you are doing, so I won't be angry about it. We'll just have to make you realise how you are doing it." He chuckles, "And I'm really interested in figuring out how you so easily slipped through the barriers I have put up."
The professor leans forward. "So, you are small, have at least some psychic ability and seeing as I can't feel your presence, you are very skilled at non-detection. These are very powerfull abilities if you learn to harness them. Is tere anymore?" You nod at Peter and he leans forward placing his hand on top of you and smooshes you into the desk. Professor Xavier lets out a gasp as Peter pulls back his hand and leaves you a mushy stain on the desk. Slowly you reform and pull yourself up. "That is it." The professor smiles. "Well, that was a bit scary, since I can't detect you, I thought you had died for a second. But I see now. Well, let me tell you a bit about this place."
"This place is a school for mutants just like you, here you will learn to se your abilities in ways that are beneficial to yourself and mankind. We will protect you and teach you the basics, so once you graduate you can become a usefull part of civilisation. However for those that wish to stay here they can get various jobs teaching others in return. And finally, there are those that wish to use their abilities to protect humans as well as other mutants from those who wish to do them harm. These select few will be part of a team we like to call the X-men. Colossus for example is one of these young men. You will meet the others in due time as most of them are also teachers here." Pavel turns around and sees Peter not, "Yes, I am part of team, They call me colossus, because of my power. Most mutants take new names or code-names."
The professor nods, "Now we probably need sometime to adjust some things to accomodate someone of your size. So we might need for you to hold out for a couple of days. Maybe it would be best if Peter watched over you for now. I think he will enjoy spending some more time with someone who does speak Russian."
