After making the choice, Tails guided the ship through one of the tunnels, leading to Sonic's brain. Once they arrive, they are greeted with the large organ inside the skull. It was big, and built by many tubes, blood vessels, and the scientifically unexplainable mind. It's unexplainable, as not even Tails knew why people have such things as dreams or the imagination; they're just there.
The ship stopped in mid-air, and Tails pointed at the brain. "Here's Sonic's brain, Cream! What do you think?"
Cream stared at it in deep thought, until... "It looks... odd." She turned her head to Tails. "Is this what everyone's brain looks like?"
Tails shrugged. "Eh, not everyone. For us, I suppose, but some creatures aren't quite as intelligent as we are."
Cream nodded, looking back to the brain. "So what does the brain do?"
"The brain is how we think, and recognize many things such as scents, faces, math problems, colors, and more. On the plus side, it also allows us to have dreams and use our imagination; it's a pretty powerful part of our body, mine especially." Tails smirked on the last part, and Cream playfully rolled her eyes. "I designed my ship to read the many parts of the brain, including what Sonic sees, dreams, and what his personality traits are."
"Oh! Can you even change things in the brain?"
Tails went silent, a little surprised and nervous at the same time. "Uh... yeah, but... I don't think I'd want to do that to Sonic; he's my best friend."
Cream rubbed the back of her head. "Sorry I asked."
Tails shook his head no. "No, it's okay; we can maybe try it if it interests you, but I'd rather watch what he's dreaming off. What do you think we should do?"
