One day, May was training her Torchic with Brock (and Max) when suddenly there was a delay in the training when she came across a shiny pink gem lying in the grass. The gem was rather shiny, so Torchic brought the alluring gem straight to its trainer. May picked it up and wondered where it came from.
"Maybe its from a rare Pokémon?" she considered, "or a lost gym-badge?"
The female Coordinator looked around for the owner, but there was none to be found. Max suggested that maybe they should send it to the Museum as it could be a rare artifact from the past. "Okay!" May agreed happily, maybe they should send it to the Pokemon Labs for later inspection. Night fell and May put the mysterious pink gem next to her bedside, which emitted a mysterious pink aura which fell upon the female trainer.
