You discover the other lost souls

You would sense some movements from beyond your preferential vision, you would hear some whooshes as one lost soul would speak behind you, "So, you've joined us, welcome Lost One." You would spin around to meet eye-to-eye with another blue spectre of a young lady with blonde hair.
"What are you?" you respond to the Lost Soul. "I was not aware of others in the same situation."
"We are all in the same boat as you," responds the lady, "We had our lives stolen by other souls,"
She shifts her red high-heel towards a flickering soul-less body, "This one is uninhabited. In a few hours, its lifespan will run out and flicker insignificantly like a moth to a candle-flame."
