You come across someone that can see you

As you watch your body walk away with your girlfriend, you just stand there in shock. You're still trying to take in what just happened. Scared to even move, you stand in the street for quite some time. You watch as people walk past you, some through you. Not one of them is even aware of your presence. You have no idea what to do? You wonder if you'll ever get your body back.

"You look a but lost, friend." You hear a soft feminine voice from behind you. You turn around and see a girl in her twenties looking straight at you. She has dyed blond hair, but you can see some of her darker roots growing in. She has her hair tied up in two pigtails. She is wearing a sort black gothic style dress.

"Can....Can you see me?" You ask the girl.

"Yes. I've been able to see people like you my entire life. Some refer to me as a sort of ghost whisperer, but most just think I'm crazy." She tells you.

"A ghost whisperer? Is that what I am? A ghost? Am I dead?" You ask her.

"No. That's just what people call me. You are just a lost soul. You're not dead. Tell me, what happened to you?" She asks you. Even though you have just met this girl, you feel like you can trust her. She has a sort of calm tone to her voice.

"My...My body was stolen a little while ago. Whatever it is, it walked off with my girlfriend. I don't know what to do." You say.

"I see. You know, I think I know what it is. There's one soul in particular that has been stealing people's bodies recently. He lost his own body a long time ago and just jumps from body to body. Because of this, there's been an increase in lost souls." She informs you.

"So, you know who did this? Can you help me get my body back, please?" You ask her.

"Hmm....I'll try, but it is very unlikely that you will ever return to your body. As horrible as it is, you might need to take someone else's body. The problem with that is that they too will become a lost soul when you do this." She tells you.

You are pretty disheartened by the knowledge that you may never get your body back, but you need to at least try.

"Alright. What should we do."

"I'll take you to my place. Just fly your soul into my body." She tells you.

"Wait. Won't that eject your soul too?" You ask.

"Don't worry. My soul is strong enough to resist ejection. My name is Emma by the way." She tells you.

You weren't too sure about Emma's plan, but you go ahead and fly into her body. When you do this...
