As you speak the human stands there, petrified. As you slowly crawl up to it, he starts to back away, with the same expression on his face. He seems to back away almost instinctively.
Suddenly he turns and bolts, a few crumbs of bread falling out of the hole in his back as he does so. You decide it cant hurt to try the bread. Suddenly it shrinks with no warning.
You then remember what the fly said: "everything that you destroy or eat or cover in spider drool will quickly return to normal." As you remember this the bread continues shrinking till it's seemingly infinitesimally small. This must be because you grew everything, you reasoned. Your stomach growled with intense hunger.
Suddenly you thought of a loophole, but it would require your utmost concentration. If you could focus on making whatever you ate large for long enough for it to digest, it might satisfy your stomach, but at this point its your only option to stop you from starving.
----------
Not far behind you, you spot some dead flies. It doesn't matter how they died, just that they did. You start to focus on the corpses of the flies as they enter your mouth.
A few hours pass, and your certain that they should've digested by now. You stop focusing, and sure enough your not hungry. But you cant keep this up forever, as just 3 flies wore you out exponentially. You must find a more efficient way.
