The family were all thrown back in their seats as they were suddenly decelerated.

"Of course, we still have the rotational and orbital speed from the earth, were now being brought up the speed of whatever planet were on now" realised Arron "it would have been better to jump in space, less chance of hitting things that way."

"I hope we didn't hurt anyone, that would be a terrible first contact," commented Shelia.

"So where are we?" asked Frang

"I see if this place is safe for us first, we may have to jump again," cautioned Arron who they pressed a lot of buttons.

"Let's she, atmosphere is breathable, lot of oxygen though at 40%. Radiation far less then earth. Magnetic field a bit more powerful but not nearly enough to be a problem. Air pressure is about the same. We'll be able to survive here for at least a bit, but we may have to jump again," analysed Arron.

"Go show us what it is like outside" begged Sus.

The View screen was brought on. There were white strands everywhere, they stopped them from being able to see beyond them.

"The look like cobwebs, but whatever made them is way bigger then any earth spider, look how thick the strands are," observed Frang.

The strands then started to disappear and the pod began to lower to the ground. Looking all around they could now see beyond the cobwebs. Before they could look around the room they saw its owner. A 20 foot tall bright green spider. Its was covered in looks of spider fluff. It was eating up the cobwebs.

They gently reached the floor as the last the cobwebs were eaten. The spider using the hairs on its Palps unsocketed it fangs and put them on a table. It then walked up the pod. It felt all over the pod with it many hairs. There found a data access port and plugged into it.

"It reading our computers, it skipping over most of them. It found the dictionaries, it going through them completely," revealed Shelia

The spider then produced some silk it made some sort of elaborate box and attached it to its left front leg. The box vibrated slightly as it talked.

"Hello there humans, I am the watcher of sector 739253, which includes your galaxy and several thousand others. When your did your pan universal jump my web was designed to catch you. It also caught a look of your prototype jumpers," greeted the watcher.

"I'm Arron" greeted Arron

"I'm Shelia"

"I'm Frang"

"and I'm Sus"

Mutt then did a small trumpet sound which he did when he met someone for the first time.

"You can come out now I've sent all the house beasts to sleep," encouraged the watcher.

The pod opened up and they climbed out. Frang was carrying a flag with and tried to stick it in the floor. The very soft carpet like thing wouldn't hold it and the flag fell down. The watched decider to use come silk to hold it up.

"So that's what you look like," observed the watcher "I you want or need anything just asked, I'm part of a ridiculously advanced civilisations that can make anything is pretty much unlimited amounts. I will have to check with by meta watcher before I make anything alive and aware though."

They all had a small meal. The humans had selection of cheese and crackers. Mutt had a type of purple grass native to this planet they founds was safe for him to eat. The watcher had a lazy susan covered with small (for it) bowl filled with various sorts of goo.

Whilst they ate they talked about now they had all got where they are now.

They started with...
