You see something out of the corner of your eye, and look towards it. Your iris shrinks as you realise that it's a spider; why did it have to be a spider?!
Gulping, you watch the tiny spider slowly explore your desk. Unsure of what to do, you sit, helpless, as the little beastie advances upon your keyboard and mouse.
Perhaps you could brush it away? Gently of course - you were afraid of spiders, you didn't hate them - but what if it did 't get the hint?
Swallowing, you lower your hand to the table, and, closing your eyes and gritting your teeth, begin to slowly push the spider away with a finger. Over the course of several seconds it is pushed to the other side of the table, whereupon it ceases its movement.
Sighing, you try to return to your work, only to find your attention once again drawn to the spider, who had to be around an inch across. The spider seems to be...shivering?
Your mouth drops open and a strangled cry catches in your throat, unable to say a thing as the spider begins to rapidly grow...
