This choice: Winter comes to help take care of Weiss during her recovery. • Go Back...Chapter #5Winter comes to help take care of Weiss during ... by: Unknown When Weiss finally came to, she was in the beacon hospital, wearing a gown and bedsheets pulled up to her chest. Her body ached all over, and she felt in tremendous pain. It took her a minute to get hold of her surroundings, and eventually a doctor arrived.
"Miss Schnee! It's so good to see you're awake. Now don't worry, you're in safe hands." The doctor was a quite short woman, maybe in her late thirties with dark red hair in a bob, and golden eyes. Weiss stumbled to sit up, with help from the doctor.
"What...where am I...what happened?" Weiss asked, dazed and confused about the whole ordeal. "I remember fighting... there was an Ursa... I don't remember..." Weiss rubbed her head.
"Don't worry, it's completely natural to feel confused given your state." The doctor explained. Weiss looked at her.
"My state?" She asked. The doctor looked a bit uncomfortable, but smiled comfortingly.
"You've been in a coma for three weeks. We had to put you under after the surgery got complicated. Don't worry - you'll make a full recovery. There was some serious damage to your lower abdomen, and major organ damage, as well as trauma to your digestive system. They'll be some scarring from the operation, but it will be barely visible after a month or so. You'll get better soon enough."
Weiss looked bewildered. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Three weeks had been lost. She looked under her sheets, and saw that her belly was wrapped in bandages. She suddenly felt very emotional, as her eyes welled up with tears, and she began to cry. The doctor looked at her with sympathy.
At that moment, Weiss noticed a trickling sound next to her bed. She looked, and saw a plastic bag filling up with urine. The only problem was that she didn't even know that she was going. She looked at the doctor, as if asking for answers.
"One more thing..." The doctor added. "Because of the damage to your internal organs... it appears that you'll suffer from both urinary and fecal incontinence for the rest of your life." Weiss cried when she heard this, and the doctor called for someone, before leaving.
Just then, Weiss's older sister, Winter, appeared at the foot of her bed. She looked worried, but was overjoyed to see Weiss awake.
"Weiss! I came as soon as I heard what happened. How do you feel? Are you OK?" Weiss nodded to her sister.
"Is it true? I'm... I can't..." She couldn't get the words out, but winter knew what she was trying to say.
"Yes, I'm afraid. You're incontinent. But don't worry - I'm going to look after you. Not to mention that you're friends have said they're more than willing to help." Weiss smiled, and hugged her sister.
"Thank you winter."
Weiss was discharged, and winter took her to team RWBY's dorm room. Her teammates already knew the situation, and all agreed to help winter to support Weiss.
