Dan checked his watch, he still had a lot of time to kill and he wanted to know how to deal with this statue. His sculpting Professor usually taught her other class around this time and it was ending soon, so he figured to go over to the University and catch her there. Dan go into his car, placed the statuette on the dash board and drove off.
A few minutes later, Dan was standing outside the classroom as students filled out in single file. Once they were gone he went inside. The Professor, Miss Crane was at the back of the room shuffling papers.
Miss Crane had only been teaching for a few years and it showed, she was around thirty years old, her brown hair was long and flowing, and her eyes a brilliant bright blue. She almost always was wearing a flowing dress, which complimented her slim figure and medium sized breasts nicely. It was no secret that many male (and some female) students hoped that she would one day volunteer herself as a nude model.
"Miss crane!" Dan said, entering the classroom and weaving himself through the unfinished sculptures and almost snagging himself on a pointy end..
"Ah, Daniel." Miss Crane said surprised, looking up from her papers. "This is a surprise. What can I do for you?"
"I was wondering if you could check out some art for me." Dan said, taking out the statuette.
"Oh?" Miss crane took the small art piece from Dan and examined it, her eyes wide with curiosity and...attraction? "Where did you come across this?"
Dan told her where he found it and strange tale that the shop keeper told and how much he paid for it. After he finished, Miss crane burst out laughing.
"Oh my dear boy, you did not seriously pay that much for this thing did you?"
Dan blushed slightly. "Yeah, well the story behind it..."
"Is just a story and has no impact on the value of art. despite what some of my associates will tell you." Miss Crane continued to turn it around in her hands. "Of coarse there is something...alluring about it. If you like I could keep it for awhile and examine it further."
Dan was taken aback by the question. Admittedly he didn't really want the thing, but he had paid for it and that little statue was oddly alluring...
