You weren't really sure why you wanted that watch, so badly, but you figured it must be something special. Tapping on the case, you politely ask the old man if you could have the pocket watch. You had more than your share of stories of people disrespecting powerful magicians and getting transformed, or cursed, or worse, so you figured being nice and polite was the wisest choice. The old man quickly got it out of the case and handed you the watch as well as a small book, stating that it was a "instruction manual" of sorts. You quickly skimmed over it, and it seemed the gist of it was that it could stop time, and allow the holder to do "whatever they wished" and upon restarting time, anything you did would be treated as normal.
After reading, you found yourself outside the store, and you had a number of things you could do now, one of which is finding your friends. Or you could explore the mall and test out your new watch. Alternatively, you could just head home.
