RJ nervously walked up to Elisabeth's apartment. The idea that the hippopotamus actually ate a human before and her boyfriend no less, terrified him. But was Zelda really serious? After all, hippos are generally herbivores. As RJ walked up to the door, he heard music playing. Elisabeth must've had the radio on.
RJ looked into the keyhole but he couldn't see anything. He quickly jumped back and shook. Elisabeth probably didn't like peeping toms. "Hello?" asked RJ. "Elisabeth! Are you in there? I'm RJ, your neighbor from the first floor! Hello!?" RJ didn't get a response. Then he started to think. He heard Zelda say that Elisabeth was a police detective. Zelda had to tell that to everybody in the apartment building to keep them in line. Maybe that meant Elisabeth was a reasonable anthro.
RJ knocked on the door again and waited before looking at his watch. But then he heard a loud stomping noise and felt tremors. Not surprising given the type of anthro there was behind the door. RJ then saw the door open and he looked at Elisabeth. She was a 12' 11" hippopotamus and had dark tan skin with long black hair. She was utterly massive. Her stomach was nearly as wide as she was tall, she had huge D-cup breasts and each of her butt cheeks had to be at least five feet wide with hips thicker than tree trunks. For clothing she was wearing her bright red jacket along with a gray shirt and tight blue jeans. RJ looked up in fear because he knew he was a toothpick in comparison to this massive anthro.
"You must be RJ," said Elisabeth with a smile, showing her sharp hippo teeth. "I've seen you a few times in the hall. Nice to meet you, I'm Elisabeth and that's Elisabeth with an 's'." Elisabeth smiled and then held out her hand and RJ nervously shook one of her flabby fingers. "Don't take this the wrong way Elisabeth," he said. "But.. I..." Elisabeth let out a chuckle. "You didn't expect me to be this big? Hello, I'm a hippo. Who ever heard of a small one of those." RJ smiled confidently.
She seemed friendly enough, perhaps Elisabeth could be a good friend. You'd need one in this apartment. But then RJ remembered something. "Uh, Elisabeth, Zelda told me you had a human boyfriend. Is that true." Elisabeth let out a snort. "I did," she said with venom in her voice. "But I caught the jerk cheating on me with a crocodile girl!?" RJ stepped back out of caution but then Elisabeth let out a sigh and smiled. "But I got my revenge on him. The first thing I did when I found out about the affair was to swallow him whole." RJ gasped as Elisabeth licked her fangs. "He was delicious. But don't worry. I only eat humans who have it coming."
So she did eat humans. Well, RJ realized he had to be very careful around Elisabeth. She may seem friendly, but she just confirmed she did eat her ex-boyfriend. RJ knew that if he made Elisabeth mad, he'd be going down her throat soon enough. So he decided to try and stay on her good side, all ten thousand pounds of it.
