You pressed the red button on the katana, freezing time. You then rotated the dial on the katana until the blade glowed a bright neon pink, indicating it was in stretch mode.

So, what would you do to Chloe? With the katana, you could just lengthen one of her parts without giving her stretching powers. Or perhaps you could give her the ability to elongate at least one of her parts. Hell, you read the note, maybe you could even stab her and give her full-on Mr. Fantastic powers...
