This choice: you are your body's head • Go Back...
Chapter #6
you are your body's head
by: Unknown
"Well, I am, of course" your body says as if it were a no-brainer.
"Are you sure? I mean, I am the head" you debate, not sure you are ready to be pushed over by your own headless body.
"Exactly, you can't really do much on your own. You can hang out on a desk, but I have the rest of our parts to actually go to school and out places" your body explains.
"Hmm" you mumble, "You do make a good point. Wait, I have an idea, what's our license look like?" you ask. Your body gives a thumbs up before reaching into his pocket to produce your wallet. Pulling out your driver's license in this new reality shows a handsome neck stump where a head photo may normally be.
"That solves that" you say. You aren't too upset though, maybe its actually a blessing. Your body can shoulder all of your responsibility while you can hang out as just a head.
Your body, feeling empowered as the "true you" stands up, leaving you sitting on the desk.
"Hey, where are you going?" you ask. Your body walks off and grabs a backpack before bringing it back over. It then picks you up and shoves you in. "Wait a minute" you protest, but your cries fall not only on deaf ears, but a dude without any ears.
You feel the back being swung over your body's shoulders as he makes off with you. As he walks through the house you hear your family greet him as if he's always not had a head atop. He steps out and hops in the car. After a while on your trip, your body finally opens the bag and pulls you out.
