At this moment you heard the sounds of doorbell, and knocking on the door.
"Don't even think of leaving Ross, we still have much to talk about," Says Tora and gets up from the sofa.
"It's not like I could leave since you are going to be at the door anyway..." You reply, feeling some relief that she isn't showing you her pretty feet anymore.
"Well, just a second ago your expression suggested that you would be willing to jump out of window to get away from my feet..." She says with that confident smile of hers as she goes towards the door.
Her words surprised you. Did your face really show her how uncomfortable you felt after she started showing off her feet like that? At that moment you hear Tora talking at the door...
"Oh hi Charlotte!" You hear her say at the door.
You have never met any of Tora's friends, but heard about them from her. By how unwilling Tora always was to talk about them with you, you figured that they must have been disapproving of you two being in relationship, they surely must have been happy after your break up last year.
From then on they seem to have went onto the corridor with their talk, because you could only hear parts of their conversation.
"How was that... Friday?" You hear unknown voice you presume to be Charlotte's.
You are unable to understand Tora's answer, and then you hear Charlotte again.
"Why? He... better than that loser... ago," she says.
For some reason you get a feeling that by "loser" she means you.
Once again Tora's answer is impossible to hear for you, she probably keeps her voice down knowing you are inside, while Charlotte who doesn't know, talks normally...
"Tora! ...do better than..." You hear talking again.
Yet again Tora's answer is impossible to hear from where you are.
"Well... come in?" You hear Charlotte say.
Worry appears in your mind. Did Charlotte just ask to come in? It would definitely become awkward if Tora let her in...
At this moment you hear door open and then close...
