Answering the door is a petite Chinese girl. She looks familiar but you can't think of her name...
"Uh, hi. I'm looking for Tora..." You say, admitting to yourself how cute this girl is as you stare at her. Have you even got the right place? What if your ex has moved.
"Hi Ross," she smiles. Phew - at least you've got the right place! "I'm May."
She seems sweet and shy. Yet she knows your name...does that mean she also knows your secret.
"Tora's not here right now. She'll be back in, like, five minutes."
"OK...um...thanks," you reply awkwardly, not having the courage to ask to wait inside.
"OK, so. See you!" May says, blushing as she closes the door on you.
Is this the chance for you to change your mind, to avoid seeing Tora after all? Deciding it's best to at least head back to your car, rather than waiting outside her apartment, you begin walking away only to hear a familiar voice calling you.
"Hey...Nicky?" You say uncertainly. It's been years since you've seen this ex girlfriend - the same girl who you screwed over and chose Tora over her. She is wearing a hoodie and looks generally unkempt.
The redhead glowers at you. "Yeah, glad you remember me. So, you looking to meet up with Tora, huh? Still got the hots for her?"
"Oh, no, I was just..."
"I heard you," she growls. Tora's door opens again suddenly; Nicky quickly darts to the side so she is obscured from view. May is holding her phone in front of you, reading out a message to you.
"Ross - Tora will be here in a minute. She says," she struggles to suppress a giggle. "She says to...to...get ready to give her feet a kiss!"
"What the...?" Nicky says, a look of bewilderment over her face.
"Uh, thanks May," you say sheepishly, while the petite Chinese girl giggles, shutting the door once more.
"So, Tora's gonna be here in a a minute, and you're gonna kiss her feet? Interesting..." Nicky stares challengingly at you. "Sounds like an interesting thing to post online. Unless you come into my apartment..." Your ex points to a door that is just along the corridor. You had no idea she lived here too!
You hear footsteps approaching; in a panic, you decide it best to go with Nicky. She is literally threaten to reveal your secret after all!
