Ciboulette it is. You take the drone down farther until without about as much subtlety as a buzzing drone can manage, you land it softly on top of the frame of the open veranda, positioned above the patio and overtop the customers. For now, you were going to leave the drone up here. It would impossible to drive it into the building without someone noticing and chasing you down, so this was as good a spot as any to keep it safe and out of immediate sight for the time being.
Now, you couldnt use the drone to get you inside, and finding a way to ground still made you uncomfortable due to the waiters going in and out constantly... so you needed to come up with a plan you felt happy with, ideally before a hungry bird finds you up here.
Time to multitask, scan the skies and come up with the gameplan. Your backpack had a nice range of tools and supplies, though nothing that would help you out with vetting down from a height like this. Luckily, you saved the real heavy duty stuff for the drone to carry. You reach your hand down the side of the machine and lift the attached duffel bag from its position. You thanked yourself for your forethought and level of preparation, as this large bag plus the one on the adjacent side of the drone kept many useful tools to keep your puny self alive such as a crowbar, hatchet, first aid kit, an EXPENSIVE lifestraw, and the tool that would be helping you out here and now, two big ol' bundles of rope that had a combined total length of 200 feet!
You hugged the heavy yoga ball sized bundles to your chest, and carefully dismounted off the drone onto the veranda. With a loud thud you slammed the bundles down with your hands ontop of them and peered over the edge of the veranda, way way down to the occupied table below you.
You winced. "Damn... will this even be enough rope?"
It was hard to tell. Perhaps vertigo from being at such an altitude was throwing off your depth perception but... it looked like your standing on top of a mountian... with even more living mountains below this one!
Sheesh... loud living mountains by the sound of it. These women could shatter glass with their laughter. The spooky part was, it looked like most of the commotion was coming from one girl! A gorgeous blonde wearing a straw sunhat, grey long sleeved shirt and denim short shorts. The vibes you got from her were rich, snotty and obnoxious. It was a wonder her friends, (who all seemed to be more polite about their behaviour in public), could stand to be around her. They all appeared to be women in their mid twenties. And god were they all gorgeous.
But thats not the matter at hand right now. Right now it was time to get down to the plan, which was to get down there with them, wait for a server to arrive, then hitch a ride into the building and find a spot to set up camp.
Your only issue was with this rope,... should you go through the trouble of unraveling it, tying ends together and tossing it down only for its length to be too short? Maybe it was best to just try your luck with the drone taking you closer to the ground and just walking inside yourself?
