Apartments. Mainly occupied by professional couples as you remember this area, the rooms here should be rich in resources and poor in number of giants to avoid. No annoying kids, for one thing.
Your drone zips up the height of the building, peering in the windows that you can see. Cosy and warm, protected from the elements, these seem like perfect testing grounds for your tiny survival!
But how to enter? Flying in through a window would be direct, but there'd be no way to avoid being spotted if a giant should happen to walk in.
You could go even higher, to the roof, and work your way downward on foot. Laborious, but very safe.
Then there's the ground floor. If you can avoid getting underfoot, you could go in through the front door. Much more exciting and intense, before you settle in to your boring life inside an apartment.
