After she had settled into her office and made a few phone calls, Julie got to her feet and confidently walked out of the office. Despite her amazing power, she had not used it to improve her own appearance, which was far from beautiful. But the honest truth was she was fine with the way she looked, she was a modest, down to earth person. But that didn't mean she didn't like to 'tinker' with her employees.
Heading down the hallway and turning right, Julie came to the tea room, the door to which had been propped open. Andrea, Nicola and Helen were in there chatting over a cup of coffee, and Luke was sat not far away also on his break, looking at something on his phone.
Julie thought about messing with them, but decided to wait. They would still be there when she came back upstairs in a while. She went downstairs and emerged onto 'her' shopfloor, smiling as she did so at the thronging lines of customers at the checkouts. Elizabeth was sorting a refund out for a customer at the Help Desk, and nearby on the toiletries aisle... Liz was giving Steven and Becca their next task. Natalie was also on the toiletries section, and she was also dealing with a customer, and an awkward one at that.
Julie decided this was the perfect time to practise her powers a little more, to get back in the swing of things. She took another quick look around and then selected her first 'guinea pigs'.
