She wants to keep him as a toy.

"Well the fact of the matter is that I shrank you. It was a accident but seeing how you're shrunk and no one knows a thing about you I think I will just have to keep you as a pet." Hermione says. Kyle just sits there with his mouth open,not believing what he is hearing. He clears his throat and says "You can't do that. I'm a person and I have rights." "Correction." Hermione says "You were a person and now you are a toy you have no rights except the ones I say you have." She then swiftly reaches down grabbing the little man. He tries to break loose of her grip but her fingers are too powerful for him to fight. She places him on the floor at her feet and Kyle looks around thinking he can escape from her. She looks down at him and says "If you're thinking about running you should forget it. If you try to run I will be forced to step on you, and I don't think you will like that one bit." Kyle frowned because he knew it was useless in running from her since she could cover in one step what would take him 20. "Now that you have seen it my way." She tells him "I think we should play a game. Don't worry you will have a lot of fun. In fact I will let you choose between three. One you can fight my foot. Two you can play mountain climber,or three we can play twister. Alright which one do you want to play? Kyle looks up at her and says, "I guess I will play..."
