There was plenty of time for the sand and surf as the week went on, Mackenzie figured. The sky was looking a little cloudy today, the air a little windy; not too much to keep her from a nice summer's day, but enough to say that maybe the beach might be a little colder than she might like.
Still, it was warm enough that she didn't have to bundle up. Far from it in fact; for a top, she had a black tank top, short enough at the middle to show off the midriff, and below, a pair of white shorts. Underneath all that, a bikini, in case the weather got nice enough for the beach while she was out. Slipping into a pair of flip-flops, Mackenzie headed out the door and towards the boardwalk.
