Chapter #4Loophole Abuse by: Unknown It happened in a top secret laboratory where there was a strange machine that appeared to be picking away at a strange block of ice. One of the scientists was a messy-haired and pale-skinned man who was smiling fiendishly as he looked at the ice. His coworker, a large Japanese man with a thick goatee ran behind him. "Gutierrez," he said. "What are you doing? This is insane." Gutierrez turned to face his coworker. "This is science, Shijima," he said. "After years of searching I have finally found a test subject for the very chemical I've been working on. My Ultimate Human formula." "I know all about your super steroid, Gutierrez," said Shijima. "But I'm telling you that it can't be done. A chemical that can induce psychic powers, superhuman strength and invulnerability. It can't be done because modern humans aren't strong enough to take it."
Gutierrez then smiled and looked into the block of ice. "Which is precisely why I've had to outsource and dig up a more primitive model. Inside the block of ice appeared to be a tan-skinned neanderthal woman who had black hair that also appeared to have a white streak in it. From the looks of it, she had purple tribal makeup all over her body and she looked like she was stronger than the modern human bodybuilder. She was wearing nothing but what looked like a leopard-skin loincloth and a necklace that appeared to be made out of fangs. The ice was rapidly melting and Dr. Shijima looked in concern. "Gutierrez, what you are doing isn't realistic. You don't know whether or not that girl is still alive." Gutierrez gave a glare. "I'll admit," he said. "She will more than likely be on death's door upon revival, burt my Valentine serum should revive her. Make a note, Shijima, project Valentine will succeed."
The ice continued to melt and the cavewoman's eyes slowly begun to open, even under the ice. Once her arm was thawed out, it begun to twitch and she begun to break through. Once she was out of the ice, the cavewoman let out a scream and stood up before panting heavily. Shijima was more than a little afraid seeing as this girl came from a more savage time. The cave woman looked around at the strange machines and she was yelling in fear she even held her head. "Gutierrez!" yelled Shijima. Gutierrez didn't lose his cool however and calmly walked up to the cave girl. "Hello," he said. "You are Valentine." The cave girl growled and stepped back in fear as Gutierrez held up what looked like a combination of a syringe and a stamp. "Do not be afraid. I am Dr. Horatio Gutierrez. I freed your from your frozen tomb." The cave girl then begun to sweat heavily because it really did appear that the cold hadn't done her any good.
"You're losing here!" yelled Shijima. But Gutierrez was determined not to lose "Valentine" and injected her with the syringe, making her yell before her eyes glowed. The strange serum turned her hair pink and from the wound with the syringe appeared a tattoo of a heart and the number 02." Valentine sweated and then felt her arm in pain before she did something that startled Shijima. She spoke.
"Where am I? What is this world." Gutierrez let out a laugh. "Phase one is a success. Her intelligence has started to grow." Then Valentine felt her stomach in pain. "I'm starving," she said. "I feel as if I haven't eaten for ages." Gutierrez nodded his head. "Come with me. Can't have you dying of starvation." As Valentine followed Gutierrez, Shijima realized that she appeared to have gotten slightly taller and thicker than she was a minute ago. It would appear the Valentine Serum had more side-effects than Gutierrez was aware of.
(Note: In this path, the test subject is to remain human without turning into an animal or a monster because lwut asked me to do a strictly human chapter. I just decided to exploit a loophole in his instructions) indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
