Crystal searches the compartments below the sea...

Below the seats were fairly cleaned out, though not completely empty. By not completely, however, it was still a bad haul.

She had found ten sheets of music, just different bar chords of sorts, slipped next to a taken-apart music stand with a handful of paper clips used to keep the pages in place. She found an extension cord that was wildly short and likely left in the dust due to being useless, and a bunch of wire, likely used in some prop or display months ago and forgotten.

She knew there had to be more in here, but she had spent minutes looking at the compartments. She only had 55 minutes left, and she had a dumb idea.

She just had to make it through a few neighborhoods. It would not be too bad, so long as she was covered. She could try and do something - fashion something out of what she had just found. So long as she made it to the garage, she could change! (She made note to text Aimee to tell her to leave the clothes in the bathroom, sneak in the side door, change, and then be there. It meant she had to be a couple minutes early, but that was fine.) That was the thing - she had to make it there before 12. Everything depended on her not being stopped or arrested along the way.

She breathed in deep. She could figure something out with the sheets of music, the cord, the clips, and the wire, or she could break down and search the compartments above the seats where she almost swore there were things kept. She would have to do it fast, though, because both people could look from the outside, and also she could easily run out of time.

1. Crystal fashioned some make-shift clothes out of the sheet music.

2. Crystal quickly searches the overhead bins.
