After months of Total Breakdown jumping on any gig they could find they had been suddenly approached by a TV executive backstage at a recent show, offering a job involving tons of exposure and big bucks. Crystal was a little worried that they had only caught the station's eye because of their various wardrobe malfunctions at recent shows, which managed to stir up some gossip in local trash-mags.
Something the band wasn't very happy about. An article about them making trouble is one thing, but it was always just racy pictures and upskirts. Always tagged with comments on their looks and what they would dress down to next! They wanted to move away from that kind of publicity, but it wouldn't look good for the band's image to dress less wildly because of some stupid magazine article. They weren't going to button up to make some no-name writers happy! So they just had to do their best to make sure the crowd weren't getting any special looks.
Despite their worries all 4 girls agreed to take the plunge for a chance at stardom. Soon they got a call for an uncomfortably shady meeting with the TV station's lawyers, and after signing a couple of contracts they probably should have read the fine print on, the deal was sealed.
