Both maidens come off the bed as it is lowered and bow before her feet. “Arise” Cleopatra says “l know your loyalty is beyond measure and it shall be rewarded l must find the source of this power”
A guard comes in “My queen! We have a man in chains in funny clothes who seems delirious We bring him to you for sentencing. He was in the garden right after you were struck by that light “
