Kim skirted the edges of the marina, keeping an eye on the incoming guests while staying out of sight. If she was going to get her hands on an invitation, she'd need to lure her victim away undetected. Doing that meant finding a guest that seemed gullible enough to help a stranger in need.
It didn't take long for Kim to find a suitable candidate, thankfully. A shapely young woman in a black dress clearly tailored to her form. Her auburn hair and pretty green eyes gave off a pleasant, helpful aura. She was clearly the kind of person that everybody could get along with, and exactly the kind of person Kim needed for her plan to work.
"Pssst. Miss.. Hey, miss!" Kim loudly whispered from the bathroom she'd used as her observation post.
Kim's target stopped in her tracks, turning her head in Kim's direction with a confused look on her face. "Me?" she asked, pointing to herself.
"Yes, you! Miss, please, I need some help!" Kim pleaded. "I, uh... I need a hand with something."
The woman stepped forward, perhaps a bit hesitantly, while Kim kept most of her body hidden behind the bathroom wall. The young woman was still out of arms reach when she stopped short, earning a silent curse from Kim.
"What's wrong?" the woman asked. "Is there no toilet paper or something?"
"No... not exactly." Kim said, putting on her best embarrassed face. She'd need to come up with a strong lie, and one that would elicit this woman's sympathy. Thankfully, the assassin had something planned. "My boyfriend, well, soon-to-be-ex-boyfriend, lured me in here so we could... well, you know." Kim started, noting the light blush that quickly came to the woman's features. "But, once I was ready to go, he took all my stuff and ran off! Bastard didn't even leave me a phone to call for help! Could I borrow yours? I just need to call a friend to bring me something to wear."
"Oh, you poor thing!" the woman cried, reaching into her handbag as she stepped closer to the bathroom entrance. "What kind of monster would leave a poor woman naked and defenseless in a place like this?! Why, it's- ah!"
The woman was cut off as Kim quickly reached out and grabbed her and pulled her into the bathroom. Spinning the woman around, Kim quickly pressed a chloroform-soaked rag over the woman's mouth and nose. It wasn't long at all before the woman's struggling ceased and she went still, completely unconscious. Kim might have been a contract killer, but she didn't kill people other than her targets without good reason.
Dragging the woman into a stall, Kim quickly sat her victim down on the toilet before searching her bag for the invitation she needed. Thankfully it was an easy find. Now there was just the matter of appropriate attire.
"Nothing personal, hun. You understand." Kim whispered to the unconscious woman as she began gently pulling the dress off her body.
A few minutes later, Kim stepped out of the bathroom the picture of sophistication. The woman's black dress flattered her own form quite well, and the high heeled shoes she had worn were even the same size. Proud of her discerning eye, Kim nonchalantly dumped her original outfit in a garbage can a few dozen meters away from the bathroom, quickly making her way down the marina to the ship. The assassin felt a small pang of guilt in leaving the poor girl in the same situation she herself had made up, but she quickly wrote it off as part of the job.
Speaking of the job, it was time to get closer to her target. Kim walked up to the ship with all the confidence in the world, sure that getting past security would be no problem now.
There was just one little hiccup in this plan...
