Kim, a normally refined professional, has a nightmare of a workday she won't soon forget.
This choice: Handing it back. "Sorry for the delay, looking forward to your performance."  •  Go Back...
Chapter #7

Handing it back. "Sorry for the delay, look...

    by: Unknown
Kim smiled at the security guard as he handed back the invite, though inwardly she was panicking. Who the hell was Ms. Prima?!

She began walking up the gangplank, her face betraying none of the panicked thoughts running through her mind. Obviously an event like this would have some kind of entertainment, but what was she expected to do? Clearly this "Prima" woman wasn't immediately recognizable, else the guard would've detained her, yet she had no idea what kind of performance she was supposed to put on.

A brief grimace crossed Kim's face as she thought of the possibilities; she might be able to fake her way through as a dancer or musician, but she was a terrible singer and would give herself away immediately. She paled as the possibility that Prima was a stripper entered her mind. Hopefully the party was a little too fancy for that kind of thing.

Although, this did have potential. A famous performer could probably get quite close to Ms. Sinclaire without arousing too much suspicion.

The disguised hitman brought up a smile as she walked onto the deck of the ship, only to immediately be approached by a young blonde woman in a royal blue bikini, a little name-tag on the right breast of the suit identifying her as an employee.

"Excuse me," she spoke up, looking at the clipboard in her hands, "Are you Ms. Adeline Prima?"

"Well, that's the name on my invitation," Kim responded, grinning at the little inside-joke and getting a giggle from the girl.

"Ha-hah! Oh, um, right, could you come with me please?..."
