Little Boys Shouldn't Play with Big Toys

You certainly don't appreciate this alarmingly loud rottweiler drawing attention to you, and what the hell, it wouldn't be like you were using this on a human or something. You need to know how it works on a live animal too.

Grinning, you point the device at the annoying canine and say, "See ya." And zap! The dog howls for a split second, and then is even smaller than a puppy. Feeling kind of mean and wanting to see what this device could do, you shoot at it again, but this time nothing happens. Hmm, I guess if you want smaller you have to ask for it. You move the dial from 0.10 to 0.025. "This should work." But where is the dog now?

You get out of your vehicle and start looking, but it must have run off into the weeds because it's nowhere to be found. Oh well, there would be more of them you reason.

Going back to your car, you get back into the driver's seat and toss the device onto the middle console.

Bad thing to do...

The button depresses and an arc of electricity shoots right into the console. Guess what that blue shimmering light means. The entire car (you included!) shrinks to very small proportions. Let's just say that you would not break the two inch mark on a ruler anymore. You look to the right and could see a 15 foot wall of concrete that most people refer to as a roadside curb. But you don't start to panic until you notice the battery charge showing 0%.

Now you are fucked! Stupid and fucked. Fucked and fucked! You start to shake but tell yourself to hold it together. You just need to get back to the facility and get the professor to help you back to normal size. Yes, you might do a stint in jail but it would be better than being micro man for the rest of your life. You have to get back there.

You look down at the gas gauge. Full! Okay at least one thing is in your favor. You start up the engine and take off.
