An amazing, colossal interactive. Trouble grows when a size-changing device is stolen.
This choice: Leaving the transposer behind is a mistake. Someone finds it.  •  Go Back...
You push aside the swinging kitchen door and find Tracy nervously drinking a cup of steaming coffee. You feel a hot confusion swirling under your skin. You have to know what is going on. You let the questions spill, "What has gotten into you, Tracy? You, you're, I don't get it. You tell me to leave, why? Why did you tell me to leave? Are you mad that I stole the transposer? Are you afraid we'll get caught? We talked about this. Didn't we? I thought you were okay with it, with whatever happens. This is something life-changing. You said so yourself. So what is it?"

Tracy brushes her long, brown hair over her shoulder. She continues speaking quietly, "I think it's too dangerous. It's too dangerous to have it here. Not right now."

You attempt to argue its safety, but Tracy replies, "Have you used it? How do you know what's safe?" Her eyes pop, "Where is it? Where did you leave it? Where is it! And what's that sound!"

Tracy's coffee ripples and splashes by unseen forces but not unheard ones. A swelling hum shakes the floor and walls. An electrical crackle makes hair stand for several seconds.

"Tracy? Is there someone else here!?" you shout against the noise.

Your first thought is her reckless, unpredictable roommate, Sheena. You thought she was out of town this week, but dread the mistake as it erupts. Thunder explodes from the adjacent room. Pots and pans fall off their racks and silverware rattles and screams.

"Someone must have used the transposer! Tracy!" you cry out, forcing both of you to your feet. You hold on to Tracy tightly as the sound dies down. The house is still intact. But there is another rising buzz shaking the building, tipping Tracy's coffee mug to wet pieces on the kitchen floor.

"Oh God!" Tracy cries.
