The door slams open with a bang which spins you around so quickly your heart slams against your ribs. You clutch your chest and breathe as the redheaded professor storms into the room with a look of fright like you've never seen someone experience. She stops upright upon seeing you, "Scott! Wh-what, what are you-" but she doesn't finish her sentence before pacing forward.
She goes to her cabinets, tearing out loose papers and manila folders, a narrow, black box and some small objects you can't identify. She hurriedly stuffs them into a large satchel she had slung over her shoulder. Without turning to you, she urges, "You have to leave! Get out of here! It's- this- now, please!"
She grabs other instruments from around the room and packs them away, finally coming to what is most important to you, "Where is the- you- you have the transposer. What are you doing with that!" She lunges for the device and snatches it in her hands. "This is not some toy. It's- it's a part of this disaster."
She twirls around the table and insists, "You have to go! We are in danger here!"
Barely keeping up with this instant of insanity from the otherwise calm educator, you press her for some understanding, "Professor, you aren't making sense. What is going on? What danger? What do you mean!"
