"How about joining us in the dinner instead?"

This request catches Tails off guard for a sec before he says "You sure? I don't want to impose." as if on cue your mother butts in saying "Nonsense, Tails! it's no trouble at all." with a reassuring smile. "We owe you for helping us with our unpacking anyway, it's the least we can do." Tails responds to this with a shrug saying "If you guys have your minds made up then who am I to argue?" "Alright!" you & Carla exclaim simultaneously before heading over to the couch to try and find a movie to watch Tails fallowing close behind the two of you.

You eventually find one of your old faves Over The Hedge & stick it in the DVD player. As it's showing the previews you look over and notice Tails still has his shoes on which leads to you asking "Don't you want to take your shoes off and relax a bit man?" Carla then adds "Yeah take a load off, besides you feet are bound to be killing you after all the moving around we did today." Tails just says "You make a good point." before doing as you two had asked and takes off his shoes to let his feet breathe for awhile.

Meanwhile your mother finds herself in a pickle so to speak, she's trying to figure out what to do for dinner, sense she's a very good cook she can make something for everyone, or she can order take out from somewhere sense it's so late & your dad will be home soon.

(A/N whichever option you pick Jack's dad will come home to have dinner & ends up meeting Tails)
