Tough night

Tails was caught off guard, but nodded.
"Sure, if that's alright." Tails said.
"Of course it is, after all, you're our friend." Your mother said. Your sister agreed. You took him to your bedroom and got him a sleeping bag. When Tails got comfortable, he thanked you for letting him stay. You nodded and turned off the lights. Tails went to sleep very quickly, however, you stayed awake. For some reason, you just couldn't fall asleep, you assumed it was because you weren't used to your new home yet. You decided to just quietly watch Tails sleep, maybe it would help you get to sleep.
You kept watching him for a couple of hours, he looked so peaceful. Suddenly, your sister came in and sat on the bed next to you.
"Couldn't fall asleep either huh?" She asked. You nodded, you couldn't stop thinking about your old friends. Carla put her hand on your shoulder. "At least you made a new friend. I'm sure the two of you will go on lots of adventures." She said and left for her own room. You tried to go to sleep again, this time successful.
You dreamed that you and Tails were fighting Eggman. Tails said you didn't need Sonic, and that the two of you could beat Eggman alone. They two of you did a good job when you suddenly woke up. Tails wasn't there anymore. You went downstairs to find Tails . . .
